The Airdoped 411 ANC, the latest true wireless earbuds from audio manufacturer boAt, have been released in India. Active noise cancellation, which is common in high-end TWS earbuds, is included in the new boAt earbuds. Despite this, the price remains extremely low. The most common method for reducing ambient noise is to manually activate the audio mode. The mode claims to improve audio quality by lowering background noise. According to boAt, the Airdopes 411’s ANC can filter sounds by up to 25 decibels.

Realme, on the other hand, is a well-known mobile phone manufacturer, has created audio products at a reasonable price. There are wired, neckband-style, and true wireless earphones available, but the company has chosen to focus on the latter, releasing high-quality products with useful features such as active noise cancellation and app support. Realme has just released its Buds Air 2, a pair of wireless headphones that promise a superior feature set for a low price.

The Realme Buds Air 2’s price of Rs. 3,299 makes it an appealing option for those looking for true wireless earphones with active noise cancellation in India. It’s debatable whether the Realme Buds Air, the company’s first true wireless earphones, are now the best true wireless earphones under Rs. 3,500. How about a set of Boat Airdopes? Let us look into this further.

Specifications And Connectivity

The long stems on the boAt Airdopes 411 ANC are similar to the Airpods. The charging case is the same color as the earbuds, making them easy to distinguish. The boAt Airdopes 411 ANC has a long stem and resembles an Airpod design. The new boAt TWS earbuds are powered by ten-millimeter drivers and are compatible with Google Assistant and Apple’s Siri voice assistant. Touch controls can be used to change the volume and ANC settings.

The Realme Buds Air 2 charging case is shaped like a pebble and is the same color as the earpieces. It has a USB Type-C port on the bottom for fast charging and a side pairing button. The headset is packaged in a small, compact case that looks and feels good for the price. A charging cable and three sets of silicone ear tips for custom fit are included in the package.

Realme Link, the company’s IoT app, is available on both platforms in addition to Android and iOS. Because the iOS app does not support the audio product range, you can only control headsets like the Realme Buds Air 2 with the Android app. When these earphones are connected to an Android device, the app recognizes them and provides access to additional settings and controls. Google Fast Pair will connect your headset to your Google account the first time you pair it with an Android device.

Audio of the Highest Quality

Acoustically, the Airdopes 411 ANC 9mm dynamic driver unit on the boat appears promising. Boat’s Signature sound promises a bass-heavy audio experience. The Bluetooth 5.2 earbuds are compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

The Boat Airdopes 411 ANC includes active noise cancellation, which claims to reduce outside noise. Swiping to the left or right activates the Ambient Mode as well. The device has two microphones to reduce background noise during phone calls.

Because of their IPX4 rating, they are sweat and water-resistant. Simply put, the earbuds claim to be able to play music for up to four and a half hours. For the true wireless earbuds, fast charging is available, allowing users to get 60 minutes of music playback from just 10 minutes of charging time.

The Realme Buds Air 2 are distinguished by their active noise cancellation. Many prospective buyers will be interested in this because it is one of the most reasonably priced true wireless headsets with this premium feature. These earphones have a good amount of active noise cancellation for the price, but I’ll go into more detail later.

The Realme Buds Air 2’s sound quality is on par with what you’d expect from a pair of true wireless earphones at this price point. The sonic signature is slightly skewed towards the lows, but not significantly so. Even at moderate volumes, the sound is clear and detailed, but as the volume increases, it becomes more shrill.

Comparing the Audio Quality

This song was dominated by the bass, which punched a little too hard at times. The fast tempo of the song also highlighted the Realme Buds Air 2’s lack of precision and detail. While the Boat Airdopes 441 sounded noticeably better than our current top pick, the OnePlus Buds Z, which costs around Rs. 3,000, there was still a significant difference in sound quality.

The aggressive bass and shrill high frequencies, narrower soundstage, and simple music made a difference at just over 75%. These issues were less noticeable at lower frequencies, but this also resulted in a dull sound. The Realme Buds Air 2’s sonic signature was not something I disliked, but it was something I felt was lacking. As a result, Realme’s active noise cancellation (ANC) compensates well for the lack of stereo speakers.

Battery

Realme Buds Air 2

The Airdopes 411 lasted about three and a half hours on a full charge. It appears to be the norm for this specific subcategory. You can recharge these earbuds three to four times before needing to find a power source by using the charging dock included in the package. To charge the docking station, a micro USB cable is included in the box.

Wheras talking about Realme, According to Realme, the Fast Charging Case and Earpieces on the Realme Buds Air 2 provide up to 120 minutes of playback after 10 minutes of charging. ANC was turned on during my testing, and the earpieces were tested at moderate to high volume levels for about three and a half hours. The charging case and earpieces were fully charged in less than two hours from empty, allowing for approximately 17-18 hours of listening time per charge cycle.

Customer Reviews And Feedback

Realme Buds Air 2

  • At this pricing point, ANC is unquestionably a game-changer. It isn’t ideal, but it is better than nothing.
  • It does not block out the higher frequencies, but it does an excellent job of emulating the sensation that only premium devices provide.
  • Buds have a really premium appearance and is well worth the money, the amplification is rather nice, and the bass sound is amazing.
  • Excellent product; noise canceling is the most effective. Extremely clear on calls and extremely loud on music.

Airdopes 441 ANC

  • Quite nice appearance, improved noise cancellation, and a solid base. Significantly lighter, secures nicely in the ear
  • Despite having Bluetooth 5.0, it is unable to connect to two devices simultaneously. I purchased it in order to pair it with my honor smart watch and my phone but was unable to do so.
  • A well-balanced sound with an even distribution of bass, treble, and mids.
  • Earbuds are extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear due to their ergonomic design. They never slip out of the ears.

Airdopes 411 ANC vs Realme Buds Air 2: Final Verdict

The Boat Airdopes 411 costs Rs 2,999 and comes with a one-year warranty. As a result, these true wireless earphones are among the most cost-effective options on the market. Even if they don’t appear to be much, you’ll get your money’s worth and some bragging rights out of them. So, if you’re on a tight budget but still want to go wireless, this is a viable option.

You can get better-sounding wireless earphones from Sony, JBL, Endurance Run BT, or E25BT for Rs 3,000 or less, all of which eliminate the need for cords in favor of sound clarity and comfort. But the RealMe Buds Air 2 true wireless earphones stand out due to their low price and high-quality active noise cancellation. Furthermore, the earphones have a good design and connectivity, but their sound quality isn’t up to par in my opinion. The sound quality of the Buds Air 2 isn’t bad, but it’s also not great. The earphones’ lack of detail and personality may appeal to some listeners, but the bass-heavy signature will turn off others.
