Design and Build Quality
In terms of build quality, the Alienware m 15 R7 is only available in “Dark Side of the Moon.”
The hexagonal-shaped airflow keeps the laptop cool no matter what games you play on it. This ensures that it can run at top performance regardless of what you’re playing.
The stadium’s rear-facing lighting may be modified to your preferences, and it gives a beautiful finishing touch to the overall design.
Alienware has kept the futuristic design of the M15 R6 from the previous two versions. The massive heat vents on the back of the M15 look more like the exhaust on the back of a cruiser than a laptop. The LED ring that surrounds the vents adds some aesthetic interest to the machine. It also sports a light-up Alienware logo and an illuminated power button above the keyboard.
Performance
Alienware has not changed the design of the M15 R6 from the previous two iterations. When viewed from behind, the M15 has massive heat vents that resemble cruise ship exhaust pipes. An LED ring encircles each of the machine’s vents, adding aesthetic interest. It also sports a light-up Alienware logo and an illuminated power button above the keyboard.
To put it another way, the Intel Core i7-12700H Processor from Intel’s 12th Generation is aanR7 Performance monster. To keep things moving, it has 14 processing cores, six of which are high-performance and eight of which are efficient.
Because of the system’s 20 threads, eSports, video editing, rendering, and simulation can all be handled with ease.
Soaring over computationally intensive programs is also not a problem, thanks to a maximum turbo frequency of 4.70 GHz. NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is designed for mobile gaming. Tests
In addition to gaming, the new M15 was subjected to benchmarking testing. Geekbench 5 yielded an overall score of 8834, with a single-core score of 1524. After the power was turned off, the single-core score plummeted to 948 points and the multi-core score decreased to 7517 points. The laptop received 1395 points on the single-core and 10702 points for the multicore in Cinebench R23. It boasts a superb cooling system, with many vents that push heat out and keep the laptop cool even when under stress. While gaming in performance mode, CPU temps rarely exceeded 90 degrees Celsius, but they were generally between 85 and 90 degrees Celsius. GPU temperatures, on the other hand, rarely exceeded 75 degrees. Prior Alienware M15 models had temps hovering around 95-100 degrees Celsius, indicating that the cooling system is adequate.
Battery Life
The Alienware M15 R6 comes with a 240-watt power supply as well as an 86-watt-hour battery. On my normal use, with MS Word open and five tabs open in Google Chrome, the M15 R6 lasted roughly 3.5 to 4 hours on a single charge. You can get an extra hour of battery life by lowering the brightness and resolution when in power-saving mode. The battery life of the M15 R6 was disappointing, especially given that some of the new AMD gaming laptops easily exceed eight hours. A 240W Dell adaptor, on the other hand, is a good thing.

The Alienware M15 R6 gaming laptop is the best on the market right now. Thermal throttling was never an issue in any of the games I tried the M15 R6 in. Alienware has made various improvements in temperature regulation. Despite my worries, the Core i7 proved to be more than capable of managing the 3080 cards. The performance of the Intel CPU in this circumstance is quite impressive. Despite the appeal of the new Ryzen CPUs’ multitasking capabilities, Intel retains its single-core gaming crown. With the release of the new 12th Generation Intel laptops, Team Blue has a bright future ahead of them.
Talking the M15 R7 laptop is a no-brainer for a serious gamer or professional who needs a lot of power.
When everything is turned on, though, it costs a whopping $3,795! There are more economical and powerful options available. The Asus Zenbook Pro Duo UX582 is, for example, more than $1,000 less expensive than the Asus Zenbook Pro.
