Amazfit Band 7 Vs MI Band 7: Which To Choose?

MI Band 7

The Amazfit Band 7 is a new low-cost fitness band, and the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is its main competitor right now. Xiaomi and Zepp Health are collaborators rather than competitors. Zepp Health is Xiaomi’s preferred partner for developing wearables, and the partnership dates back to the early days of the Mi Band.

Zepp Health announced a three-year extension of its collaboration with Xiaomi in 2020. The two companies will collaborate on the research and development of new wearable technologies in addition to assisting Xiaomi in the development of its wearable products. Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI), a points-based metric that scores users based on their heart rate during activities, is one of the features shared by both brands’ smartwatches and fitness trackers.

Is the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 a good buy?

For quite some time, the Xiaomi Mi Band series has set the standard for low-cost wearables. In this regard, if you’re looking for a low-cost fitness wristband, the Mi Band 7 is a no-brainer. If you already own a Xiaomi Mi Band 6, you should think twice.

The Mi Band 7 excels in several areas on paper, but the Mi Band 6 will continue to serve its users well for months, if not years. Should existing Mi Band 6 owners upgrade? At least not right away.

We haven’t done a thorough evaluation of the Mi Band 7, so we can’t comment on its real-world pros and cons; however, it will almost certainly suffer from Xiaomi-specific issues, such as the perplexing multiple app situation.

What is the new feature of the Amazfit Band 7?

MI Band 7

Let us begin by looking at the face. The Amazfit Band 7 has a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with always-on support, which is more than twice the size of the 0.56-inch display on the Band 5. The size and design are eerily similar to the recently released Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro. The Amazfit Band 7 is water resistant to 5 ATMs. The new Band 7 now has 120 sports modes and detection for up to four activities in terms of health and monitoring features. It also allows for 24-hour monitoring of the heart rate, blood oxygen level, sleep, and stress level. Amazfit’s newest wearable, like the Amazfit Bip 3 and Bip 3 Pro, can alert users if it detects an abnormal heart rate and SpO2 level before prompting them to perform a breathing exercise.

Few products could compete with the Mi Band line in terms of price and features a few years ago. However, this has shifted in recent years. Huawei and Fitbit, for example, now have viable and affordable alternatives. The Xiaomi Mi Band 7’s main competitors are listed below.
