Fastrack Reflex 3.0 vs Oneplus Band: Detailed Analysis

Design

Reflex 3.0 has the appearance of a standard fitness tracker, complete with a rectangular 1-inch touch-sensitive TFT touchscreen. The fitness tracker includes a step counter, a sleep tracker, various workout modes, breathing support, and other features. The only design elements are a simple rectangular display and a silicone wrist strap.

If you don’t notice the prominent OnePlus branding on the One Plus Band, you could easily confuse it with any other low-cost fitness band on the market. Swipe motions are used to control everything on the 1.1-inch display, which lacks a capacitive button. Although manual brightness adjustments are hidden in the settings, this small rectangular screen is colourful and bright enough to be seen in direct sunlight. Flipping the capsule over reveals the heart rate and oxygen saturation sensors, as well as a two-pin charging port.

Display

Oneplus Band

The Fastrack Reflex 3.0’s TFT display is bright enough to be used in a variety of settings. The touchscreen isn’t as responsive as some others, but it’s still one of the best we’ve seen. It may be annoying at first because we’ve grown accustomed to the responsiveness of touchscreens on smartphones and tablets in 2021, but it will quickly become second nature.

The One Plus band lacks a capacitive button on the front, instead relying on swipe gestures on the 1.1-inch touchscreen. Although manual brightness adjustments are hidden in the settings, this small rectangular screen is colourful and bright enough to be seen in direct sunlight.

Features

Fastrack Reflex 3.0 includes a variety of features such as 24-hour heart rate monitoring, a step counter, sleep tracking, and more. The Fastrack Reflex 3.0’s heart rate monitor is extremely accurate. We compared the results of an ECG machine in a hospital in terms of the person’s heart rate. The Fastrack Reflex 3.0 includes a highly accurate step counter that allows users to track their daily activity levels.

The workout modes on the Fastrack Reflex 3.0 can also be extremely beneficial because they provide users with information such as the length of time they worked out, the number of calories they burned, and their average heart rate. You won’t have to worry about perspiration damaging your Fastrack Reflex 3.0 while working out because it has an IP68 rating. There is also a breathing exercise that instructs users to inhale and exhale slowly.

The setup for the One Plus band was simple, but you must first create an app profile. If you have a saved OnePlus account, the app on a OnePlus phone will automatically select it (FYI, the app and the Band are both compatible with all Android phones). This fitness tracker does not currently have an iOS app, but OnePlus has stated that one is in the works.

SpO2 tracking is an unusual feature on a device in this price range, which distinguishes the OnePlus Band. While you sleep, your blood oxygen saturation is monitored on a regular basis. I can’t compare my results to those of professionals because I didn’t have access to a medical-grade meter, but my results were always within range. However, you should not rely on it for anything other than keeping an eye on your health.

Fastrack Reflex 3.0

The Fastrack Reflex 3.0 can be controlled via the Fastrack Reflex app on your smartphone. It’s excellent software that makes using the extremely limited fitness tracker a little easier. Connecting and syncing a fitness tracker to a smartphone via the app allows users to more closely monitor their vitals. The Fastrack Reflex 3.0 app can also be used to change settings, watch faces, and toggle notifications.

Outdoor GPS-assisted running and walking sessions can be recorded in the Fitness tab. The Manage tab allows you to configure watch faces, change notification sync, manage your profile, and set alarms. The fitness trackers from OnePlus’ sister company Realme support Google Fit, but there are no third-party integrations in the settings.
