Iqoo Z6 Pro Vs Vivo T1 Pro: Which Is Better?

India has one of the most diverse markets for low-cost smartphones. This market is fiercely competitive due to the proliferation of mid-range phone options from numerous manufacturers (including Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, and many more).

The Vivo T1 Pro 5G is the newest member of Vivo’s mid-range smartphone family. Vivo is a well-known Chinese tech brand. The Vivo T1 Pro, true to its name, offers 5G connectivity, AI-enabled camera specs, an AMOLED display, and long battery life for less than Rs. 25,000. The big question is whether the smartphone lives up to its promises. It is time to investigate this.

Also The Z6 Pro 5G, as the series’ crown jewel, will be the subject of today’s review. While this is the first iQoo Z-series phone to be branded as a “Pro,” the Z7’s features and market positioning indicate that it is actually the spiritual successor to the Z5. The Z6 Pro 5G has a much faster 66W charging, but iQoo took a lot of shortcuts to get there, so we’re not sure how much of an improvement it is over the Z6.

Iqoo Z6 Pro Vs Vivo T1 Pro: Detailed Analysis

Price and Availability

Vivo T1 Pro

The iQoo Z6 Pro 5G is available in three different colours. The base model costs Rs. 23,999 and comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The second variant, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for just Rs. 24,999, is the better buy. The third variant, priced at Rs. 28,999 and featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, appears to be on the more expensive side, competing with the more powerful iQoo Neo 6. (Review). I now have 12 GB of RAM at my disposal.

For Rs. 23,999 and Rs. 24,999, respectively, the Vivo T1 Pro 5G comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The two colour options are Turbo Black and Turbo Cyan, and it is available on Flipkart, the Vivo website, and in regular stores across India.

The back panel and middle frame of the iQoo Z6 Pro 5G are made of polycarbonate, just like its predecessors. The matte back panel finish is unpleasant to the touch and lends a low-quality appearance to the device. This, along with the phone’s matte-finished frame, contributes to its sophisticated appearance. The back panel effectively conceals fingerprints but collects a lot of dust and lint from pockets.

Whereas To begin with, the Vivo T1 Pro 5G is one of the most aesthetically pleasing devices on the market today. Although it is not the most visually appealing smartphone, its gradient blue colour helps it stand out from the crowd. In the light, the back panel shimmers and shines. A large camera module illuminated by an LED flash is housed on the back. The rest of the back end is spotless. The smartphone is well-made and comfortable to hold. I didn’t scratch it while using it, so it must be quite durable.

When compared to other devices in its class, the iQoo Z6 Pro 5G’s SoC is competitive. AnTuTu gave the phone 5,43,633 points, while Geekbench gave it 798 and 2,858 points for single- and multi-core tests, respectively. The gaming performance of the system was also excellent. Call of Duty: Mobile and Asphalt 9: Legends in high definition both worked flawlessly. Asphalt 9: Legends made 60 frames per second the default for a smoother experience. When playing in the “Monster” gaming mode, the display’s 180Hz touch sampling rate and 4D vibration feedback felt very accurate and fun. The phone did become slightly warmer while playing both games, but never dangerously so.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, which includes a pair of Kyro 670 CPU cores, powers the Vivo T1 Pro 5G. It has eight processing cores and consumes minimal power. The CPU is quick and can easily handle common tasks. Talking on the phone or sending a text, checking email, listening to the radio, playing a short game, or surfing the web are some examples.

Games with medium graphics and high frame rates, such as BGMI and Asphalt 9, ran flawlessly. One possible explanation is the Vivo T1 Pro 5G’s 4D Game Vibration, Z-axis linear motor, and Ultra Game Mode, which all aid in faster gaming reactions. Taken as a whole, this smartphone has the potential to be a gamer’s paradise.

Iqoo Z6 Pro

Even during gameplay, the iQoo Z6 Pro 5G’s display refresh rate remained constant at 60 frames per second (Hz). The display brightness was adequate, and the 409 PPI pixel density ensured that text and images were clearly visible. The field of view was also excellent. The stereo speakers on the iQoo Z5 were one of my favourite features, and I was disappointed to see them disappear in the iQoo Z6 Pro 5G. In comparison, the bottom-firing one sounded weak and unimpressive. The fingerprint reader on the AMOLED display is a useful addition. It’s an optical sensor, and it worked flawlessly on the Z6 Pro 5G.

The Vivo T1 Pro 5G’s 6.44-inch AMOLED screen has a contrast ratio of 6 million:1, and the colour gamut is 100% DCI-P3. The images appear to be adequately sized, and the peak brightness of 1300 nits makes the screen readable even in bright sunlight. The Vivo T1 Pro 5G’s HDR10+ certification improves the quality of OTT streaming, while the SGS Eye Care Display reduces blue light exposure.

The iQoo Z6 Pro 5G features three cameras, three on the front and one on the back. You get a 64-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide 8-megapixel shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. The 16-megapixel front-facing camera can be used to take selfies. I expect similar results because the iQoo Z5 was not updated. The camera app’s interface is very familiar, with all of the app’s primary features accessible with a single tap and the more complex ones neatly organized in a slide-out menu.

The Vivo T1 Pro 5G features three cameras, one on the front and two on the back. Along with the main lens, lenses with resolutions of 64 megapixels, 8 megapixels, and 2 megapixels are included. The 16MP front-facing camera can be used to take selfies.

During the day, the main 64MP camera takes excellent photos. The large f/1.79 aperture ensures sharp, high-dynamic-range photos. If you’re only going to use them for social media, they don’t appear to require any additional editing or touch-ups. The large aperture captures usable photos even in low-light situations. Night Mode images are subpar due to a general lack of fine detail and the appearance of grain at the image’s periphery.

Iqoo Z6 Pro Vs Vivo T1 Pro: Final Verdict

In terms of gaming performance and battery life, the iQoo Z6 Pro 5G outperforms the iQoo Z6, but it is far from a universally useful device, and there are better options available from the competition. To summarize, the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G (Review) (starting at Rs. 24,999) is a stylish smartphone with an improved display and camera performance. The Xiaomi 11i 5G (Review) costs Rs. 24,999 and comes with a larger, 120Hz AMOLED display, a 108-megapixel camera, and a larger battery.

However, there are no major flaws with the Vivo T1 Pro 5G. A higher refresh rate, better cameras, and a headphone jack would have been nice, but these are minor quibbles. The smartphone’s numerous useful features, such as its quick charging time, 5G compatibility, and high-quality construction, more than compensate for its high price. If you want a stylish 5G device with respectable overall specs for less than $25,000, the Vivo T1 Pro 5G is a good option.
