JBL Live 300 Vs Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro: Comparison!

JBL Live 300 Vs Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro

The JBL LIVE 300 TWS true wireless earbuds are a great daily companion with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa integration. JBL headphones are ideal for those looking for long-lasting, functional earphones. For the same price, you can get better audio quality and a more comfortable fit with the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus.

You can fine-tune the sound quality of these true wireless earbuds using the free mobile app. The multi-driver configuration and aptX support are typically reserved for more expensive headsets, so you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck. The Liberty 2 Pro’s large size and lack of control customization options are still drawbacks.

JBL, the undisputed king of speakers, also provides an impressive selection of truly wireless models. JBL LIVE 300 TWS are wireless earbuds with smart features such as Google Assistant and a variety of listening modes to keep you safe. Let’s put the LIVE 300 TWS through its paces to see if it’s truly a headset for everyone. The Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro not only sounds great, but it’s also a great value. So, let’s see how it goes.

JBL Live 300 vs Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro: Detailed Analysis

Feel and Comfort

The JBL LIVE 300 TWS earbuds are adequate, but they don’t provide a particularly memorable listening experience. The hinge mechanism on the plastic charging case is less reliable and satisfying when compared to the Apple AirPods case. On the inside of the case, there are two earbud cutouts, a manual pairing button, and a small LED battery indicator. When the earbuds are charging, the LED ring light surrounding the USB-C input slowly blinks white. Aside from that, there’s the Anker Soundcore Liberty 2. Despite the adage that “don’t judge a book by its cover,” I believe it is important to consider the appearance of true wireless earbuds. Despite its unusual shape and large footprint, the charging case makes a good first impression. To keep myself occupied, I frequently fidget with the smooth sliding mechanism of the door. Despite its appearance, the case is made of soft plastic that isn’t a fingerprint magnet.

Apps and Connectivity

JBL Live 300

Even after uninstalling and reinstalling JBL’s Headphones app, which is useful but inconvenient, the stability issues persist. However, the app is still worth downloading because it allows you to perform a variety of tasks such as updating the firmware on the buds, customizing the controls, and more. It’s also an excellent tool for those who enjoy experimenting with different EQ settings.

The Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro, on the other hand, gets a lot of things right in terms of technology. If you’re watching videos on an Android or iOS device, you shouldn’t have any lip-sync issues because it supports both AAC and aptX audio formats.

The Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro earbuds are easily paired by placing them in the charging case and closing the lid. Keep the earphones in place while opening the lid. You should see a white flashing LED in your Bluetooth settings to indicate that the buds are in pairing mode. Once the headphones have been paired with the right and left earbuds, they can be removed from the case and used normally.

Under our testing conditions, which included exposing each headset to a constant 75dB(SPL) output, the JBL LIVE 300 TWS lasted five hours and fourteen minutes. Most of us don’t listen to music for longer than a few hours at a time. The earbuds can be charged quickly: ten minutes in the case results in an hour of playback time.

Even if the earbuds aren’t in use, the case will keep charging them while they’re inside. The case is fully charged in just two hours and can be used for another 2.3 charge cycles, giving the user nearly 18 hours of battery life.

The Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro has an 8-hour battery life, with the charging case adding three more charges. In our tests, it lasted 8 hours and 35 minutes, just a little longer than Anker claims. The case also supports wireless charging, so you can charge it by placing it on a Qi wireless charging mat.

Sound Quality

The LIVE 300 TWS has a good sound with less bass emphasis than I expected: bass notes are 150-200 percent louder than midrange notes. It is similar to the JLab GO Air in that it is ISO226:2003 compliant. The buds attempt to reproduce every note at the same perceived loudness in addition to producing sound waves with the same pressure.

This tuning has a flaw because it assumes that audio engineers have not previously corrected the recordings. As a result of this theory, properly amplified bass notes may be too loud, which can and does cause auditory masking.

The Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro doesn’t have the best frequency response, but the bass boost will please most music fans who like a little extra kick. Those who prefer a more accurate representation of the bass and treble can use the EQ in the mobile app to achieve a more neutral frequency response.

Highs and Mids

Talib Kweli’s Get By is a good example of this, as the bassline is so powerful from the start. The volume of the vocals drops slightly as the bass becomes especially loud during the verses. Despite the fact that the synths and bass dominate SOHN’s Tremors, the singer’s voice can be heard clearly even amid the roar of the bass guitar (0:45).

The highs sound good for truly wireless earbuds, but you can hear the earbuds’ unique driver architecture flexing. Young Folks by Peter Bjorn and John employs shakers and hi-hats without sounding overbearing.

Customer Reviews

JBL Live 300 TWS

  • They are sweat and water resistant, as I tested them while running in light rain.
  • That sounds fantastic. Custom equilizers created with an app are beneficial for adjusting your music.
  • Fantastic product. Superior to Samsung Galaxy buds and Apple earpods pro. I’ve owned both of these.
  • Excellent audio quality. A little heavy and occasionally falls out of the ear.

Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro

  • The whole “ten Grammy guys approved these” thing may be deceptive.
  • The earbuds and case both retain a good charge.
  • There is no distortion in the bass. Experiment with the soundcore app’s equaliser.
  • It truly brings this headset to life; I’ve enjoyed listening to these just as much as the powerbeat pros I previously owned, but at a fraction of the price.

JBL Live 300 vs Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro: Final Verdict

To conclude, the JBL LIVE 300 TWS is a good headset for making phone calls and other stuff. Despite the fact that this feature is popular, you may find it irritating because the left earbud is milliseconds behind the right earbud when re-transmitting call audio. This feature might be more appealing to me if the headset designated both earbuds as their own receivers. However, for phone calls, I prefer to use mono mode.

While If you only want high-quality wireless earbuds, Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 pro is a good option. Despite its small size, this is a great choice due to its sweat resistance and sound quality. Aside from the sliding mechanism, the charging case is one of my favorite designs of all time. There are no pauses or stutters, and the connection is strong.
