Performance
We began with the Philips BT64 by streaming music from our smartphones via Bluetooth. It isn’t as loud as some of the other portable speakers we’ve tried, but it’s sufficient for listening to music indoors without disturbing others. Audio Quality

This was the only real issue we had with the JBL Go’s performance. Nonetheless, for a start, the speaker is surprisingly loud for its size. With this device, we were able to easily power a 200-square-foot room while still having plenty of extras. Furthermore, the mids, highs, and bass sounds are extremely detailed above 180Hz. The bass thump from Avicii’s The Night could be clearly heard. By using a Bluetooth speaker with the JBL Go, you can improve the sound quality of your laptop. In the same price range, the Logitech X100 and the JBL Clip are both excellent options. Even though the JBL Go’s overall sound quality is superior to the Clip’s, we believe the Logitech X100 is the best-sounding portable Bluetooth speaker of the bunch.
