Realme Buds Wireless 2S Vs Oppo Enco M32 Comparison!

The Realme Buds Wireless 2S neckband is the latest addition to the company’s expanding consumer electronics portfolio in India. This neckband normally costs Rs 1,499, but it is currently available for around Rs 1,299. It’s a low-cost, feature-rich option for a first neckband.

The Realme Buds Wireless 2S, as far as we can tell, is the successor to last year’s Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo, promising even more significant improvements such as a larger battery and Bluetooth 5.3 support. Let’s see how the Realme Buds Wireless 2S performs in practice now that we’ve covered the theory.

Oppo’s personal audio product line in India, on the other hand, is focused on the middle to upper middle price points, with a focus on the increasingly popular true wireless design. In contrast, the company has recently expanded into the more affordable market, focusing on customers who value dependability in areas such as connectivity, audio quality, and battery life. Following the success of their September release of the wireless earbud-style Oppo Enco Buds, the company has released the similarly low-cost Oppo Enco M32 neckband headset.

Realme Buds Wireless 2S Vs Oppo Enco M32: Detailed Analysis

Design and Build Quality

Realme Buds Wireless 2S

Because of its understated design and lack of distinguishing features, the Realme Buds 2S resembles many other low-cost neckbands. While other yellow neckbands are available for the same price, the Realme theme distinguishes the one I received. I could tell Realme had done a good job with the construction as soon as I picked up the neckband. It appears to be of high quality and construction for the price; the neckband, in particular, is both comfortable and substantial when handled.

Whereas The Oppo Enco M32 has the appearance and feel of any other wireless neckband headset, with a focus on convenience and comfort. It is only available in one colour (black) and has a single Oppo logo on the left neckband module. The neckband can be twisted quite a bit without breaking, which is not always the case with similar headsets. The IP55 rating indicates that the headset can withstand some moisture and dust.

Comfort

It’s time to talk about how comfortable the Realme Buds Wireless 2S is in general. Because of its lightweight, the neckband is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. After four or five hours of testing, I discovered it to be as comfortable as previous Realme neckbands. The ear tips are well-constructed because they fit snugly in the ear canal and effectively muffle ambient noise. These plastic ear tips are much lighter than their silicone counterparts, so they will fit comfortably in your ear.

The charging USB Type-C port on the Oppo Enco M32’s plastic module on the right side of the neckband, which also houses the playback and volume controls, is protected by a rubber flap. A pair of earpieces protrude from the left and right modules and can be magnetically snapped together via short cables. You can turn on and off the Oppo Enco M32 using this magnetic connection by simply separating and reattaching the earpieces. The headset can be accidentally activated when carried in a bag due to the weak magnetic force and ease with which the two earpieces can be separated.

Functions & Accessibility

Realme has a reputation for producing high-quality products, and the Realme Buds Wireless 2S is no exception. Beginning with Bluetooth 5.3, this is the first affordable neckband to offer this feature.

The magnetic ear tips, which detach from your device as soon as both of them snap together, are another cool feature. It’s good that they quickly reconnect after being separated. Given how long most Bluetooth-enabled devices in this price range take to reconnect, this is a welcome addition.

However, The Oppo Enco M32 has Bluetooth 5 and supports the SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs, enabling wireless connections and high-quality audio. The headphones have a frequency response of 20-20,000 Hz and use 10mm, dynamic drivers. You can also quickly switch between your two devices. By holding down the volume up and down buttons for two seconds, you can quickly switch between the two most recently paired devices.

Battery

Oppo Enco M32

Realme claims that the battery life of the Realme Buds Wireless 2S will be around 24 hours, an increase from the previous generation’s 17 hours of backup with the Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo. On the real grounds, I received approximately 20 hours of backup, which is sufficient. While it may not be the best option available, most people should find it adequate. The neckband is Dart charging compatible, so a quick 20-minute charge will give you about seven hours of backup time.

The Oppo Enco M32 has a battery life of 28 hours, but the company claims that with just 10 minutes of charging, you can get 20 hours of listening time. I was able to use the earphones for about 21-22 hours on a single charge under moderate listening conditions, and a 10-minute charge was enough to power the earphones for about 14-15 hours. The headset took 35 minutes to fully charge using a 10W charger, as claimed by the manufacturer. They’re adequate for a wireless neckband headset that costs around this much.
