Realme GT Neo 4 Vs IQOO Neo 6: Which To Choose?

Realme GT Neo 4 Vs IQOO Neo 6

Realme may be getting ready to release the Realme GT Neo 4 with a top-tier Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Before the smartphone was officially released in China, there were rumors that a more potent chip would replace the Realme GT Neo 3’s present mid-range processor. The GT Neo 4 will reportedly outperform its predecessor, the GT Neo 3, in terms of specifications when it debuts in China the following month.

The Neo 6 was introduced by iQoo in the fiercely competitive sub-Rs. 30,000 pricing range, bringing the Neo series to India. iQoo strengthened the phone’s features by providing its 80W fast charging and a 120Hz AMOLED display in order to give it a fighting chance. Another strong technology included in the phone’s setup is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. The charging speed, in particular, is noticeably superior to what is typically available in a product of this price range.  In order to determine the overall champion, we will compare the Realme GT Neo 4 and IQOO Neo 6.

Design and Build

Realme GT Neo 4
Realme GT Neo 4

The Realme GT Neo 4 first resembles the Realme GT Neo 2 from a year ago. It would have the same polycarbonate mid-frame and plastic rear panel as the GT Neo 2. The Realme GT Neo 4 receives a new design pattern, as opposed to the Neo 2, which had a stripe pattern with the motto “Dare to Leap” on the back. Similarities between the Realme GT Neo 4 and the GT Neo 2 also extend to the cameras since the Neo 4 shares the same rectangular module with two vertically-placed cameras and a flash. As soon as you take up the device, you’ll see that the camera module protrudes slightly from the body, which causes it to wobble when you try to use it when it’s flat on a table. Naturally, putting on a case—like the one included with the handset also helps in protecting the gadget from dings and scratches.

The volume up and down keys are located along the left edge, and the power button is located on the right, according to reports. The device’s three buttons have nice tactile feedback, and their placement appears to be ideal. Similar to the Realme GT Neo 2, the Realme GT Neo 4 has an in-display optical fingerprint scanner. Although the scanner should be swift and accurately scans your fingerprint, it is a touch too close to the bottom edge, so you must perform weird thumb acrobatics in order to unlock the smartphone.

The iQoo Neo 6 is a rebranded version of the iQoo Neo 6 SE, which was introduced in China earlier this year. The Neo 6 weighs 190g and is a large smartphone. It has a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen with a hole cut out for the selfie camera at the top. All of the bezels are fairly narrow. Plastic makes up the phone’s frame, which is flattened at the top and bottom. The Neo 6 now has an IR (infrared) emitter from iQoo that is situated on top close to the secondary microphone. The speaker, SIM tray slot, and USB Type-C port are located at the bottom of the frame. The phone is easy to grip thanks to the plastic back panel’s curved sides and additional plastic construction. The frame’s right side is slender and has tiny power and volume buttons.

The Neo 6 comes packaged in a clear casing from iQoo. Despite the fact that the phone’s back panel has a matte texture, which makes fingerprints less of a concern, the case should still add some extra security. A USB Type-C to 3.5mm audio adapter is also included, which is a welcome feature.

Software

The Realme GT Neo 4 is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processing platform, the latest silicon from Qualcomm. The 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of internal storage on the Realme GT Neo 4 should support the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processor platform. Although 6GB or 8GB of RAM should be adequate for the majority of users’ needs, Dynamic RAM Expansion gives you the option to virtually raise that amount if you feel it is insufficient.

One of the most potent SoCs in this price range, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870, drives the iQoo Neo 6’s internals.  According to iQoo, the SoC was kept cool using a liquid cooling system. The iQoo Neo 6 has a potent SoC and offers constant performance that shows no signs of slowing down.

Battery

IQOO Neo 6

Similar to the GT Neo 2 from the previous year, the Realme GT Neo 4 has a 5000mAh battery. The GT Neo 2 used the slower but still respectable 65W SuperDart charging method, but the Neo 4 has the superior and far quicker 100W fast charging option. Realme claims that the GT Neo 4’s 5000mAh battery can be charged to 50% using the device’s 100W SuperDart charging in roughly 12 minutes.

We were pleasantly delighted by the iQOO Neo 6’s battery life. Even though the battery is only 4,700mAh, it has been highly optimized, so you can easily get screen-on periods of over 6-7 hours when using the phone on a daily basis. This is made better with the 80W fast charging, which charges your phone quickly. My phone would frequently charge from 20 to 30 percent of the way to 100 percent in about 30 minutes.

Realme GT Neo 4 Vs IQOO Neo 6: Final Verdict

One should wait for the final confirmation of Realme GT Neo 4 features to officially be out. On the other hand, the iQOO Neo 6 is now the best phone to buy if you’re searching for a comprehensive, performance-oriented gadget of around Rs 30,000 that picks up a strong chip without cutting back on the other parts of the device.
