Realme Watch S Vs Realme Watch 2 Pro Comparison!

Most expensive smartwatches and fitness trackers have GPS tracking capabilities. To get the most out of a workout program, it’s essential to have a tracking device like this one. It provides information about your progress in terms of miles, speed, and location. Social media is rife with posts detailing one’s workout routine. Although some low-cost smartwatches use more advanced technology like GPS to track your whereabouts, this isn’t the case for most.

While increasing its smartphone market share, Realme has been focused increasingly on smart wearables. In May, the business unveiled its first wristwatch, the Realme Watch, and now it has shown its second watch, the Realme Watch S.

Realme’s latest wristwatch, the Realme Watch 2 Pro, is one of the most affordable GPS trackers available. With a 1.75-inch colour touchscreen, the Watch 2 Pro, costs Rs. 4,999, is capable of monitoring heart rate and oxygen saturation levels (SpO2).

There are more than a hundred distinct watch faces to choose from. Does this smartwatch deserve the title of the greatest low-cost smartwatch currently available? To find out more, keep reading. Contrastingly, the Realme Watch S is circular and contains features that are similar to those of the Realme Watch. Whether Realme is merely a circular version of the company’s initial watch generation is up for debate. The Realme Watch’s battery capacity grew from 220 mAh to 390 mAh, while the metal casing was considerably enhanced. Compared to the Realme Watch, the Watch S offers a more advanced experience.

Realme Watch S Vs Realme Watch 2 Pro: Detailed Analysis

Design

The Realme Watch 2 Pro’s 1.75-inch rectangular screen has curved corners. The chin and the remainder of the screen’s bezels are clearly separated. There are no metal parts on this watch; everything is made of plastic, and it has a highly reflective finish on the outside. The Realme Watch S, on the other hand, is a far better choice. When I first saw the Realme Watch S, I was immediately drawn to its lightweight. At 48 grams, it’s a tad heavier than its predecessor, but you won’t even notice it on your wrist after a few hours. The watch’s circular case and tachymeter give it a more conventional look that may be worn with any clothing. So there is no longer any noticeable chin on the Realme Watch because the thick bezel has been flattened out and uniform across the entire display.

Interface, Application, And Software

A notification shade, app drawer, quick settings, and a quick overview of fitness stats for the day make the Watch 2 Pro’s UI and UX as easy to use as a smartwatch can be. By tapping the right button on the home screen, you can go back in time or put the device on standby from the main menu. Once you know where everything is, it’s a breeze to use.

The Watch S, in contrast to the Realme Link-controlled Watch S, offers a barebones user interface with 14 pre-installed apps. Link (Android only) and a Realme account must be set up before you can use the watch. After attaching the watch to your account, you’re good to go for the time being. Just a few seconds were all that was needed to get started. In addition to your phone’s app data, text messages, location, and workout/health statistics, many queries will ask for this information. You must answer these questions in order to use the Realme Watch S.

Display

I think Realme should have put more emphasis on the Watch 2 Pro’s display than it did on its GPS tracking. Unlike other low-cost smartwatch options, this one boasts a bright, clear, and brilliant display. If you can understand it at a glance, you can take advantage of all the pixels. On the Realme Watch 2 Pro, you may choose from a wide range of watch faces, including those that are artistic and colorful. I like to use one of the defaults or data-heavy watch faces while I’m using it on a daily basis.

The 1.3-inch display on the Realme Watch S has more than enough room for all of the information it displays. Because of this, alerts and the rest of the UI can display fine text thanks to the 360 x 360-pixel resolution. According to Realme, the Watch S has a maximum brightness of 600 nits.

There is a little spherical sensor for the new photosensitive sensor on the tachymeter’s uppermost dial if you look closely. Dynamic brightness adjustment is a huge improvement over the Watch S’s predecessor. In my tests, I left the brightness level at auto and had no issues. There are five different brightness settings to choose from.

Battery

With the Realme Watch 2 Pro, you won’t have to worry about running out of battery. A single charge of the 390mAh battery lasted me around eight days with ordinary use; I anticipate that lighter GPS use will extend it by at least two days. It was very simple and quick to charge the smartphone.

The Realme Watch S never made it to a charger in the week I had it. The battery’s lifespan was extraordinary. Only four days into our testing of the original Realme Watch, this watch outlasted it. The more time you spend exercising and tracking your sleep, the more energy you can expend.

Customer Reviews

Realme Watch S

  • Now that Active 3 has been released, there is still no ECG, and the most recent update broke the algorithm for the heart rate sensor, so the watch no longer knows when it is on the wrist.
  • AOD is gone, auto-locks arbitrarily, and has become nearly ineffective. There is no reason whatsoever not to purchase inexpensive Chinese watches.
  • Real me focuses on quality because other well-known brands currently provide comparable bands and watches.
  • The realme Watch S Pro has a stunning AMOLED display; in fact, I use a smartphone with an AMOLED display, and I sometimes believe that the display on the watch is superior.

Realme Watch 2 Pro

  • The best alternative is under 5000. Spo2 and heart rate are working well, and the watch synchronizes with my phone without any lag as soon as a notice is received (same time notification).
  • Authentic spo2 and HR sensor (24 hr HR Monitoring, high and low heart rate reminder you can set it through realme link app)
  • Currently, only two or three watch faces display distance in kilometres. Every other watch face displays step count. I, therefore, deducted one star. Please include this improvement in future ota versions.

Realme Watch S Vs Realme Watch 2 Pro: Final Verdict

The Realme Watch 2 Pro isn’t the most advanced or physically appealing alternative, but it’s one of the better selections for less than Rs. 5,000.” The wristwatch’s GPS, heart rate, and SpO2 monitoring, among other features, more than make up for the lack of step counting precision. This wrist-top secondary screen is suitable for warnings due to its excellent display and dependable connection to a smartphone.

The Realme Watch is a fashionable and effective smartwatch that does all the things you’d expect from a wrist-worn gadget. This device keeps tabs on every aspect of your health, including your workouts, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and even your sleep. An abundance of customization options and an easy-to-use interface are provided by the Realme Link app.

Two drawbacks are sporadic connectivity and inaccurate sleep data. Even though it worked flawlessly and didn’t cause any issues in everyday use, the LCD panel is a letdown compared to the OLED one. There was no issue with the battery life on this smartphone.
