Design

The LED lights on the Samsung T70 add to the party atmosphere, but it’s the massive sound that steals the show here. Samsung’s Giga Party software, like the RGB, LED lights found on many gaming PCs and laptops, allows you to control the lights. The T70 is a one-piece design. It’s not flashy or loud with its large tone, but it has the presence to match. Many partygoers prefer bass-heavy music, which is exactly what you’ll find here. It has a lot of basses, and you can really feel it.

To put it another way, the 9.7-by-3.9-by-3.0-inch PL7’s tips have been cut off and replaced with LED light rings on either end. Ring pulses are distinguished by variations in speed and color (you can control the lights with the XBoom app).

The volume, power, Bluetooth, Sound Boost (which increases vocal volume), and battery level are all located on the device’s top. Connectivity

The Bluetooth connectivity of the Samsung T70 makes it a no-nonsense phone. Although it has wired USB and RCA jack connections, I believe the vast majority of users will prefer Bluetooth. It’s probably a good thing that there are other options. There are also two inputs and a mixer for the microphones, which can be used to adjust the volume levels.

When it came to Bluetooth, the LG Xboom Go Pl7 unit outperformed every other Bluetooth device we tested. The XBoom app for iOS and Android is free, but it lacks the bells and whistles of UE’s Boom app. There is no equalizer, for example, and only one sound option, Sound Boost, is available.

The app is most frequently used to dim the lights. You can have the lights follow the music (which I thought was too fast, even on slower tracks), or you can choose from a number of themes, including Party, Water, and Forest. In addition to selecting a colour scheme and the rate at which the lights change, you can create your own distinct style. If you want less visual stimulation, you can also turn off the lights.

Sound Quality

We tested the Samsung Sound Tower MX-T70 with a wide range of audio files, from movies to music. Because of its razor-sharp fidelity, the MX-T40 excels at sound-tripping. Music sounds clear and euphoric when the speaker’s default setting (no Bass Booster) is left on. In other words, each instrument, vocal track, and drum beat stands alone without interfering with or competing with the others. You and everyone else will have a great time, whether you’re listening to a song to sing along with the lyrics, groove to the bass notes, or enjoy the instrumentals.

Its sound quality was comparable to the top portable Bluetooth speakers in its price range, the UE Blast and the JBL Charge 4, but it didn’t quite reach those heights. It lacks the boom of the Blast or Charge, but it has a more vibrant sound and well-balanced bass.

Clear and powerful vocals announce their presence. Fiona Apple’s voice rose above the jumble of noises on “Shameika,” while Taylor Swift’s voice soared above the percussion and gentle guitar on “the last great American dynasty.” The end caps of Harry Styles’ “Adore You” vibrated, but it did not overpower the other sounds. The strummed acoustic guitar in Jason Isbell’s “What’ve I Done to Help” worked well with the bass and beats.

Using the Voice Assistant On The LG XBoom Go PL7

Unlike many other portable Bluetooth speakers in this price range, the PL7 does not include Alexa or Google Assistant. Instead, use your phone’s voice assistant by pressing and holding the play/pause button for a few seconds.
