Design:

The Steelseries Arctis 7 has two editions, 2017 and 2019. The design of the 2019 edition has slightly changed compared to 2017 one. The Arctis 7 has a sleek, sophisticated and elegant appearance that comes with an adjustable elastic headband. The headset comes in two colours, black and white. As for the controls, the right ear cup has a power button and a chat volume slider and the left ear cup has a micro USB port, volume slider and 3.5 mm audio jack.  The headset is very comfortable and the fabric used for the ear cup has good breathability which is good for long gaming sessions. This headset has no RGB lighting.

Corsair Virtuoso has an attractive look. It is built with an all-black metallic sleek design and has machined aluminium construction which makes it lightweight, durable and comfortable. This gaming headset is equipped with premium memory foam earpads that fit the shape of your head. Its headband is lightweight and delivers pillow-soft, long-lasting comfort which enables you to play for hours. There’s dynamic lighting on each ear cup which allows virtually unlimited colour options and is customizable through its issue app.

The headset has its controls located at the bottom of each ear cup. You’ll find a USB-C port, 3.5mm Jack and plug-in for the mic on the left ear cup, while the right side features a volume rocker, wireless and USB and Bluetooth controls.

The Arctis 7 has a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that gives more than 24 hours of battery life for all-day gaming.

It is clear from above that Corsair Virtuoso is a better wireless gaming headset than the Steelseries Arctis 7. The Corsair Virtuoso RGB wireless gaming headphone has a better design, connectivity features and microphone. The sound profile of both gaming headsets is almost similar. The battery backup of Steelseries Arctis 7 is much better than Corsair Virtuoso 20 hours of playtime is enough according to me. The microphone is not detachable incase of Arctic 7.
