TCL launched the 20 Pro 5G, a new smartphone, on April 14th, 2021. The display resolution is 1080×2400, with a pixel density of 394 PPI and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone features a 6.67-inch touchscreen display. The TCL 20 Pro 5G is powered by a Qualcomm octa-core processor. There is a total of 6GB of RAM available. The TCL 20 Pro 5G is powered by a massive 4500mAh battery and runs the latest version of Android 11. TCL 20 Pro 5G supports patented quick charging.
In contrast to the nicer TCL 20 Pro 5G, both the T20S and 20SE lack a 5G-capable chipset, which is to be anticipated given the price range. Despite the fact that the TCL 20S and 20SE have different screens, it’s no surprise that their main draws are their stunning displays, given TCL’s heritage. Both phones appear and feel more expensive than they are due to their solid build quality and attention to the things that consumers truly care about: long-lasting battery life, outstanding performance, ample storage, and intelligent design. Is there any reason why amazing products can’t be found at a reasonable cost?

TCL T20S vs TCL 20 Pro: Detailed Analysis
Design
Despite its attractive appearance, I would not suggest the 20 Pro 5G to most people. It includes a few features that give it the appearance of a second-generation phone. The network compatibility and security support policies of the 20 Pro 5G, on the other hand, aren’t as solid as those of the Pixels and Galaxy A-series smartphones in the category. Only two years’ worth of security updates will be accessible, which is more than enough for a mid-range phone (less good).
Whereas TCL T20S is incompatible with AT&T’s 5G network and is not certified to use C-band frequencies, which Verizon and AT&T’s 5G networks will undoubtedly improve in the next years. Those who use T-4G mobile networks and 5G networks and aren’t concerned with C-band may prefer this smartphone over others.
Pricing

The 20S costs more and has a brighter but slightly smaller 6.67-inch screen with a higher-resolution FHD+ LCD display than the 20SE, which costs somewhat less (1080 x 2400 pixels with 20:9 aspect ratio). I was able to see more lines and details while watching the same Dune film in 1080p on my 20S. Text may be read on both panels if the brightness is adjusted to 100% outside. The pinhole design of the 20S is significantly more inconspicuous than the teardrop-shaped front camera on the 20SE.
Whereas previously stated, the TCL 20 Pro 5G has four cameras on the rear, with the primary sensor measuring 48 MP, two secondary sensors measuring 2 MP, and a third measuring 2 MP. The primary sensor on the TCL 20 Pro 5G’s back has an aperture of 1:79, the secondary sensor is 16 MP, and the third sensor is 2 MP. Autofocus is available on the back camera. For selfies, it includes a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.45 aperture.

Technical Specs
The TCL 20 Pro 5G is powered by TCL UI on Android 11, and it has 256GB of internal storage that can be increased through a microSD card (up to 1000GB). The TCL 20 Pro 5G is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) phone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The TCL 20 Pro 5G weighs 190.00 grams and measures 164.20 by 73.00 by 9.07mm (height x width x thickness). Marine Blue and Moon dust Grey were two of the available colors.
In terms of usability, the 20S is the superior choice. Because it’s such a large phone, I still need to use two hands to operate it safely. My fingers get fatigued when I try to reach different portions of the screen with only one hand, so I need the other hand to keep everything balanced. The 20SE is physically larger than the 20S and weighs a metric ounce (7.1 grams) more, but its technical components are not in the same weight class.
Connectivity
With a price that is $60 less than the $20S, TCL has no choice but to lower the 20SE’s $190 price. Despite having 4GB of RAM, the 20S’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 CPU cannot compensate for the 20SE’s slower processing speed. Instead, the 20S’s Snapdragon 665 processor and 4GB of RAM make it faster. When it comes to basic messaging and social media scrolling, there isn’t much of a difference. However, on occasion, I had to restart an app or a webpage on the 20SE since it didn’t load properly the first time.
