Boat Strom Pro Vs Noise Colorfit Pro 4: Which To Buy?

Looking for a smartwatch that reflects your distinct personality? You’ve arrived at the right place. We’ve laid out everything you need to know to choose between the Noise Colorfit Pro 4 and the Boat Storm Pro. I sincerely hope you find a smartwatch that you adore.

The latest boAt smartwatch is now available. The company’s most recent smartwatch offering is the boAt Storm Pro. The Pro, an upgrade to the original boAt Storm, is now available. When compared to other boAt smartwatches, the Storm Pro has the largest display. The AMOLED screen is what distinguishes the boAt smartwatch from the competition. Although most low-cost smartwatches have TFT or LCD screens, the Storm Pro’s is AMOLED and still very affordable.

Recently, Noise also introduced two new Bluetooth-cooling smartwatches, the ColorFit Pro 4 and ColorFit Pro 4 Max. The ColorFit Pro 4 has a 1.72-inch full-colour LCD screen, a speaker and microphone for making and receiving phone calls, and an up to 7-day battery life. Here are my thoughts after a week of using the smartwatch.

Specifications

The 1.78-inch AMOLED display on the boAt Storm Pro has a refresh rate of 60Hz, resulting in a fluid and responsive touch experience. This display is distinguished by thin bezels and a high screen-to-body ratio of 70%. Furthermore, the watch has a permanent screen that is always visible. The watch is controlled and paired via the boAt crest app.

Over 700 Active Fitness modes are available on the boAt Watch Storm Pro, covering a wide range of strength and cardiovascular exercises. Gardening, cooking, skateboarding, meditating, and playing an instrument are all examples of low to moderate-intensity activities that can be recorded. The built-in 24-hour heart rate sensor, SPO2 monitor, sleep tracker, and step-counter allow for real-time monitoring of daily activities. Users can set sedentary timers in addition to the breathing mode and guided meditation.

However, once you have registered your Noise Colorfit Pro 4 with the Noise Fit companion app for Android and iPhone, your data will be securely stored in the cloud. It keeps track of your activities and displays data about them on the main screen. This includes your step count, sleep data, distance travelled, heart rate, stress level, and blood oxygen level, among other things. Noise devices for sale are displayed in the shop tab, workout information is displayed in the activities tab, battery life is displayed on the watch face tab, and additional settings are available in the settings tab. There are numerous watch faces available, but only a few display comprehensive data such as steps, heart rate, calories burned, and current weather. When you click the “Customize” button, you’ll be taken to a page where you can upload your own image.

Connectivity

Noise Colorfit Pro 4

The smartwatch can connect to any smartphone running the Boat Crest App, allowing health data to be tracked and mapped. App users can challenge their loved ones to friendly competition by connecting with their Fitness Buddies. Users are rewarded for completing various types of physical activities in the Gamification Mode. The smartwatch includes 100+ different watch faces in addition to call, text, and notification alerts, curated controls, menstrual cycle alerts, weather forecasts, and live cricket scores.

The primary function of the Noise Colorfit pro 4 smartwatch, on the other hand, is to make and receive phone calls via its integrated microphone and speaker. It displays your call history, has a dial pad, and allows you to add contacts directly from the app. The app allows you to save up to ten different phone numbers for quick access. There’s also a number pad and a log of previous calls.

When used indoors, the call quality is excellent, with clear microphone reception and audible volume from the speaker. In a noisy outdoor environment, however, clarity suffers.

Display

The Boat Storm Pro’s 1.78-inch AMOLED display has a refresh rate of 60Hz and a pixel density of 325 ppi. The screen-to-body ratio of the smartwatch is 70%. The IP68 standard ensures that the smartwatch is dust, water, and sweat resistant thanks to its silicone strap and metal finish.

As opposed to the other hand The Noise ColorFit Pro 4 has a 1.72-inch (356 x 400 pixel), 311 PPI LCD glass color touch screen. It can be programmed to turn on when you raise your hand and turn off after a short period of time. The touch screen’s high refresh rate of 60 frames per second makes it responsive and simple to use. It is suitable for use in daylight due to its maximum brightness of 500 nits.

A brightness bar that appears when you swipe up from the bottom can be used to manually adjust the screen’s brightness; unfortunately, no auto-brightness feature is available. It also has a handy notification shade, which can be accessed by swiping down from the top. You can access Settings, Find My Phone, Brightness Control, DND, Power Saver, and Silent Mode.

Battery

The Noise ColorFit Pro 4’s 300mAh battery allows it to be powered on for up to 7 days and dormant for up to 30. It only has 24 per cent of its battery life left after about 6 days of use. Every day, I ran for about 40 minutes, kept the brightness at its maximum, and made two or three Bluetooth calls. The frequency with which you make calls, use the heart rate monitor during workouts, the brightness with which you display information, and the number of notifications you enable can all have a significant impact on the battery’s lifespan.

The Boat Storm Pro has ASAP charge features that allow you to charge the device completely in 30 minutes, extending the battery life to at least 5 days. A battery pack with a capacity of 320 mAh is included.

Boat Strom Pro vs Noise Colorfit Pro 4: Final Verdict

The Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is a functional smartwatch that supports voice calling for Rs. 3499. It has a large colour touch screen, several watch faces, voice calling, and long battery life. The app is loaded with features, including the ability to sync with Google Fit. The app’s time spent syncing with the watch could be reduced, and the activity tracking could be improved.

Despite nearly identical specifications, the Boat Storm Pro 4 is the better buy if durability and battery life are more important to you than display and you are willing to pay a premium for it.
