Design

Because of its low price, the TECNO POVA Neo is built on a tight budget, but the company still manages to produce a phone with a decent feel. The device is unmistakably made of plastic, but it does not have a cheap or lightweight feel to it. The display on the Infinix Note 10 is a 6.95-inch IPS LCD Super Fluid display with a full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2160 pixels). We are only given a 60Hz panel, which may be disappointing given that the majority of potential customers now expect a 90Hz refresh rate. To improve the responsiveness of the display, a touch sampling rate of 180Hz is provided. If you’ve previously used a smartphone with a 90Hz display, you can expect a more fluid and responsive experience.

Cameras

The rear camera module has two cameras, the primary of which is a 13-megapixel sensor. This sensor will also allow the device to capture Full HD video at 30 frames per second. Even in low-light situations, the camera performed admirably. There was almost no grain in the images, whether they were of miniature toy models or other objects. TECNO did an excellent job of maximizing the hardware’s potential to achieve this. It’s not a game changer by any means because it didn’t extract that much light from the image, but it has produced images that are perfectly usable in difficult conditions. This outperforms the competition in this price range.

Performance

A MediaTek Helio G25 processor powers the TECNO POVA Neo. It is an eight-core 12-nanometer ARM Cortex A53 processor with a low cost. It is supported by 4GB of RAM in this case, with the option of adding 1GB of RAM via virtual expansion. This chip only supports 4G LTE connectivity, but given how limited 5G coverage is, this is a minor annoyance. In terms of real-world performance, the POVA Neo breezes through routine tasks. While browsing social media and the overall interface, we noticed very little stuttering, demonstrating how well TECNO’s HiOS is optimized for these modest specifications. The device has some polish, but the amount of bloatware on it hinders it. These applications can be uninstalled, but the process can be intimidating at first.

The Infinix Note 10, on the other hand, is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. During our brief testing, the Infinix Note 10 displayed no lag when switching between apps and was capable of handling routine as well as demanding tasks, such as gaming. When performing basic tasks like checking email, navigating social media, and launching banking and investment apps, the Infinix Note 10 provides a seamless experience. However, while gaming, the Infinix Note 10 gets quite warm, but this has no effect on the device’s performance, whether running the game or switching between apps. The Infinix Note 10’s battery is very impressive, and it easily lasted a full day with moderate to heavy usage and more than 48 hours with light to moderate usage. Impressive.

It’s difficult to give this TECNO POVA Neo a fair review without mentioning its price in the Philippines. Devices in this category typically have subpar hardware or software specifications. Both are lacking in the TECNO POVA Neo. While some may argue that this device runs Android 11, the primary focus will always be on stability.

The Infinix Note 10 is an Indian-made smartphone that should attract a lot of attention. The smartphone has a gradient-striped back panel and a camera module that is proportionate. Despite the phone’s good looks, some users believe its size is a bit excessive. In terms of task management and app switching, the Infinix Note 10 excels. The cluttered and frequently complex XOS 7.6 UI, on the other hand, takes away the majority of the smartphone’s charm and occasionally confuses the user.
